I have purchased the fire tablet several other time not because of issues I had with it but because I have purchased as gifts for family members. Every device still works with the exception of one because my granddaughter put recorded several videos and didn’t want to delete any so she used up all the memory. As for the case they don’t hold up as well I have had to replace mine a couple times because the clips that hold it in place break. The only thing I use the tablet for is reading so it shouldn’t happen. I do like that the case allows me to put the device to sleep or wake it up simply by opening or closing the case. Three stars for the case five stars for the tablet.

The way tis case was built. it fits my old early Kindle Fire 7 as well as the latest one. No problem with block charge ports or the on/off switch. Nothing is blocked. Nice and strong too.This will be my cover of choice for all new kindles going forward.
