It works! Seems like something you would expect but you never know.
The quality looks good to me so have no trouble recommending.
Being used in a Mac laptop to drive an old VGA monitor. Also have an HDMI monitor plugged into the laptop.

Fab product exactly what I needed to link my monitor up to WFH in these very worrying times

I was looking to convert mDP into VGA as I have 4 monitors without mDP or DP ports (there’s always something). My NVIDIA P1000 has 4 mDP outs and I was worried because I had failures with USB-VGA converters before (I found that adding more than one caused terminal problems as the CPU could only handle two of them simultaneously albeit with with reduced resolutions).
But these work great and I am happy. 1920*1080 @ 60Hz refresh rate * 4. Picture is as stable as a dedicated output and I don’t game so I don’t really need massive quality. Overall compared to the price of these things a few years back they’re now a bargain.
