Seems thin and more like plastic.Went on easily. Like that it comes with a cloth and a way to remove dust wire applying. Touch works great and the screen looks just as bright and clear as without it. Trying not to test how well it protects. Do wish it could cover the whole screen but I guess the edge of the 8 is curved.
