Product works as stated. Very easy to use and lightweight. Per the error limit stated in the manual it is acceptable as I am not needing something with less than a 2% error limit. There are products with less error limit to accuracy if that is what someone needs but you pay a lot more for little benefit.

This is a basic infrared thermometer that has a bunch of functions that might be useful but are hardly necessary. I use it to measure the stone temperature in my outdoor Ooni pizza oven. I don”t know about its accuracy since I have no standard to measure it against but for my application close is good enough.
