Perfect fit for full size HDMI port on my laptop. VGA connection worked as well. Unfortunately. I guess my monitor is too old for my jobs network. VGA is not supported. Will have to look for another monitor with HDMI or USB connection.

Do not expect this to work the other way. IE VGA to HDMI. Will not work if the COMPUTER or LAPTOP VGA is connected. The graphics OUT on the the HDMI plug end is connected. Graphics IN is left unconnected. VGA plug is wired to IN wards to the VGA of the monitor. VGA out is left unconnected. So it won’t work on the computers. VGA port..Computer HDMI to monitor VGA configuration only..Buyer beware!!
