This cable works exactly as meant from HDMI to VGA..I tried to use it from VGA port (PC) to HDMI Monitor – Did NOT work.

Before getting this cable. I was using a short adapter. It was putting a lot of extra stress on my HDMI port. and I didn’t like that. This cable feels great. and I don’t have to worry about sag. I don’t have any perceivable reductions in image quality. in-fact it’s a step up from my small converter.
