This adaptor works as advertised. No issues with the set up or the overall picture. The only problem I”ve encountered was with connecting a speaker with the included aux cord: when plugging the speaker directly into the adaptor static can be heard from the speaker (with the actual sound being quiet). I”m not sure if this issue is inherent to all adaptors of this sort but it was a slight obstacle. Overall a very good product and definitely worth the money spent.

Needed to use an old monitor with VGA only connection with a laptop that had HDMI to work from home . Worked well so far. Purchased a second one to keep in laptop bag for days I have to go into office as a backup for if a dock has been taken for home working or still for old laptops ..As a bonus I have some non UK region dvds that i can now watch on the monitor.
