Bought as a case for my son’s Samsung tablet. The pen has already been lost because it didn’t fit tight into the pen slot. It also fits lose around the tablet when you pick it up from the opposite end of the handle. Does provide protection for the tablet though and works good for a stand. I’m comparing this to the case for an older Samsung tablet my oldest son uses and the pen is very snug on that one and so is the tablet.

I like it. Took a while to get the case on. But it does its job

This kids’ case for the tablet has been a real stress-reliever. The shockproof design handles the inevitable drops and bumps with ease. keeping the tablet safe. The handle doubles as a stand. making it perfect for movie time or interactive learning sessions. Its lightweight design means my child can carry it around comfortably. and the easy access to buttons and ports means no fussing with the case to use the tablet’s features.

This does have fairly good protection for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. but there are some areas of weakness which I hope will not become problematic in the future..It is made of EVA foam. and is fairly light. coming in at 220g when empty. and 715g with the tablet inside..The EVA foam is present along all edges and corners. so it should provide protection against drops and falls..There is no protection included for the screen. except (indirectly) the raised lip of 4.5mm which completely surrounds the screen..A handle allows convenient carrying. and also propping the tablet up at an angle for hands-free watching..All ports have ‘cutouts’ so you can access them as needed. That includes the power button. the volume buttons. and the USB C socket..There are double holes next to each speaker for the 4 speakers. and the microphone is also left uncovered..Are there any negative aspects….The places along the edge of the case where the cutouts for the buttons are are much more flexible than (in my opinion) they should be. The case edge pulls away from the tablet edge quite markedly with only a little pressure. They could have put EVA bridges between the power and volume keys to increase firmness. I think they could also have used a firmer EVA foam. I have another EVA case for another tablet – the original / official case from the tablet company. and that does seem a whole lot firmer than this one..Next. the cutout for the forward facing camera is not directly central within its notch – it is right to the edge of the notch. I think it was done this way. since the volume buttons were too close by. and the whole area was getting too loose. It does look a bit strange..Finally. the handle / hinge join is somewhat loose and wobbly… Just a small bit of pressure. and it wobbles 30 degrees. Once it is in place. straight or perpendicular. it is sufficient to hold the tablet stable in the resting position. so that is OK..I have experimented with a number of Tab S9 cases in the last few months. and this is the most ‘floppy’ and the least armoured of them. Other cases are available for just a few more pounds. which offer quite a bit more protection. I think the other cases are firmer. since they have a plastic inner layer under the EVA foam layer. Those other cases don’t look like they are meant for children. whereas this one definitely does look that way.
