This does have fairly good protection for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. but there are some areas of weakness which I hope will not become problematic in the future..It is made of EVA foam. and is fairly light. coming in at 220g when empty. and 715g with the tablet inside..The EVA foam is present along all edges and corners. so it should provide protection against drops and falls..There is no protection included for the screen. except (indirectly) the raised lip of 4.5mm which completely surrounds the screen..A handle allows convenient carrying. and also propping the tablet up at an angle for hands-free watching..All ports have ‘cutouts’ so you can access them as needed. That includes the power button. the volume buttons. and the USB C socket..There are double holes next to each speaker for the 4 speakers. and the microphone is also left uncovered..Are there any negative aspects….The places along the edge of the case where the cutouts for the buttons are are much more flexible than (in my opinion) they should be. The case edge pulls away from the tablet edge quite markedly with only a little pressure. They could have put EVA bridges between the power and volume keys to increase firmness. I think they could also have used a firmer EVA foam. I have another EVA case for another tablet – the original / official case from the tablet company. and that does seem a whole lot firmer than this one..Next. the cutout for the forward facing camera is not directly central within its notch – it is right to the edge of the notch. I think it was done this way. since the volume buttons were too close by. and the whole area was getting too loose. It does look a bit strange..Finally. the handle / hinge join is somewhat loose and wobbly… Just a small bit of pressure. and it wobbles 30 degrees. Once it is in place. straight or perpendicular. it is sufficient to hold the tablet stable in the resting position. so that is OK..I have experimented with a number of Tab S9 cases in the last few months. and this is the most ‘floppy’ and the least armoured of them. Other cases are available for just a few more pounds. which offer quite a bit more protection. I think the other cases are firmer. since they have a plastic inner layer under the EVA foam layer. Those other cases don’t look like they are meant for children. whereas this one definitely does look that way.

I have a Samsung Tab S9 11 inch tablet with the pen. I went through several cases to figure out which one worked best. I was surprised when I found this style tablet case was my favorite at this point. Let me tell you why..PUTTING THIS ON THE TABLET.There were moments when I struggled with this case that I wondered if it was worth the stress. I really did not think this thing would go on my tablet. It is very very tight. However. once I got it on. it was on really nicely..I want to point out this is for the S9 11 inch tablet. not the other S9 versions which are different in size and layout..CAMERA OPENING.The camera opening lined up completely and is perfect..PEN HOLDER.I keep my pen in a pen holder on my desk. The back holder in this case is good. but it is not as secure as I would like it to be. A good knock or drop can easily dislodge the pen and I want to be safe and keep the pen separate unless I am using it at the moment. Then I put it away..CHARGING OPENiNG.The charging opening lines up perfectly and works great..FRONT RIM.The front rim does protect the screen some if it is dropped or flipped over. If you are really rough. well. it might not be as well protected. but for reasonable use it works great..BUTTON OPENINGS.This is the one spot that this is not quite as nice as I would like it to be. It is very easy to accidentally pull on this area and it pulls away from the tablet quite a bit. It would easily snap if this is done too often. The opening is big so that the buttons all are accessible and the rim around them protect them from being accidentally pressed. You have to work at pressing them which is a good thing..I mention this because this is marketed for kids (not sure why an expensive tablet like this would be given to a kid) and that one opening area is much weaker than the rest of the case. So far mine has held up. but I am not a kid..HANDLE.The handle is the reason that I find myself staying with this case over all of the others. It allows me to play games or surf the net while holding the handle folded to the front of the tablet. I did not realize how handy this would be. but I use it constantly that way. Also it serves as a nice stand longways on a table. It is at the perfect height. I can use it upright. but it is not quite as stable that way. The handle makes it so much easier to hold the tablet with one hand if needed that I doubt I will go to any other case..THE BOTTOM LINE.I really like this tablet case a lot. With the one exception it is the sturdiest and most useful of all of those that I have tried..MY RATING.FOUR STARS. I took off a star for the weak area near the buttons since this is marketed for kids. If you are an adult using this. it is not as much of an issue. This case is my current favorite and I hope it lasts a long while. It really is much easier to use and carry especially if your hands are full.

It has a janky fit to my kids tablet. just doesnt sit perfectly. And very difficult to remove and install for cleaning. But has saved the tablet from my 3 year old throwing it several times.

This kids’ case for the tablet has been a real stress-reliever. The shockproof design handles the inevitable drops and bumps with ease. keeping the tablet safe. The handle doubles as a stand. making it perfect for movie time or interactive learning sessions. Its lightweight design means my child can carry it around comfortably. and the easy access to buttons and ports means no fussing with the case to use the tablet’s features.
