opens on left. protects front and back. fits recharging station. and front side has a secure magnetic seal. mine is new. but it appears durable.

I purchased this to go with my new Fire Tablet. For protection and auto shut off and start it’s as good as my last one. The slight downside is in my opinion it opens the wrong way and the stand is a little sloppy. However it does work and do its job.
