Got this for my youngest son who recently bought himself a kindle fire with his birthday gift cards. While I want him to protect his tablet. paying $40 or whatever for a case seems a bad deal to me. so we settled on this one..It fits perfectly. and is reasonably sturdy so far – the tablet has survived the usual drops from the sofa onto hardwood floor no problem. The case wakes the tablet when its opened. and the lid folds up to allow the tablet to stand up. at least in landscape mode..For the price. its perfect – I don’t expect it to last a lifetime (sadly what does these days). but it will certainly last him well enough on this tablet and protect it. I also like the fact its reasonably thin so it doesn’t add a lot of bulk or weight to the device. Its comfortable to hold..Overall. recommended if you’re looking for a good value way to protect your fire tablet.
