GREAT adapter! I have been working from home and my new Laptop doesn’t have VGA out only HDMI.
I was going blind trying to only use my laptop screen.
This is perfect!

I tested this by hooking up a docked Nintendo Switch to an HP ZR24w monitor’s DVI port. I couldn’t get picture at first. Wiggled cables around and was in the middle of giving up but then I had the thought that maybe my monitor wasn’t seeing the Switch signal because it was asleep so I turned on a controller and hit the Switch power button and then tried to change inputs again and it finally lit up! (if you rely on the ability for the Switch to change inputs and wake up your TV and such it may not work on a monitor) So mess around a bit before giving up on it. I was totally planning to leave a bad review.
I’m unsure if the picture quality leaves a bit to be desired or if it’s all in my head. I almost get a sense of fuzziness. I believe HDMI has all the pins DVI had it should be a pretty easy conversion. I just hate to give 5 stars without full confidence I think that’s too common these days. 4 is still a very good rating so I’ll leave it at that.

Not sure on the picture quality as I do not know what the monitor quality is. This is being used as a work at home during the Coronavirus outbreak. Was one adapter I could still get in a couple of days.

These are great for when you travel and end up some where that does not have HDMI hook ups on their monitors. Easy to use. Connect the long end (end with pins) into the older monitor and you are ready to connect HDMI from monitor to computer.

These work great for adding a HDMI port to our older monitors. Our second set.
