I”m always optimistically skeptical when I buy a dongle from a company that I”ve never heard of and without having been able to work with the cable to make sure that the quality and function are up to my standards. This Rankie DP to VGA adapter is exactly as was pictured and described. Simply stated the product works for the purpose that it was manufactured and appears to be of a quality that should last several years or until I”m able to rid my house of VGA altogether. I will look for this name when buying a dongle in the future.

This is the second DP to VGA adapter I bought but the first one wasn”t from Rankie but from some 3rd party brand. I was hesitant to buy this because of past experiences but I am glad I did! I bought this because my GPU only has DisplayPort and DVI and the DVI Port was used up by another VGA monitor using a DVI to VGA adapter. The 3rd party adapter didn”t show anything on-screen but this adapter did! I would recommend this adapter over any 3rd party ones out there!

Used this to hook up an old monitor to my GTX 1060 as a second display. Now I can game on my good screen while streaming on my other. Dual monitors become mandatory once you try them. Great value – would definitely recommend.
