I bought this to connect an older monitor with a VGA port 2 DP connection on the back of my computer. It works great I haven”t had any issues and I”m able to use it with a multiple monitor setup. I recommend this anybody looking for a VGA to DP adapter just remember that no sound well travel through the connection that you have to connect that separately if you have sound going to your monitor.
