The 6 feet cable connects a Mini DisplayPort with Thunderbolt TM port enabled computer to a monitor or projector with DVI input for video streaming. (Note: Does NOT transmit audio signal. NOT bi-directional. Only converts signal from Mini DP to DVI)
The gold-plated conductors resist corrosion and increase connectivity. The inner braided foil shielding reduces interference and improves signal quality
Supports resolutions up to 1920×1200 or 1080P (full HD)
The low-profile connector does not block adjacent ports. The ergonomic tread is easy to plug and unplug

Works fine allows the BIOS of a PC to be seen before the OS starts which DP to VGA adapters do not. If you need to run DP graphics cards into a monitor with only DVI sockets these are brilliant.Recomended.

Don’t find too much need fit a DVI to DP cable but this did the trick. Cable seems sturdy and laptop image looks good and clean on the display monitor.

The shipment was quick. I needed it urgently so it helped. cheaper than what I get in a store. Its been 1 week so can”t say how long it CAN last. These cables tend to last for years. So I am not concerned.
