Purchased this item to connect to a Firetv Cube 2nd gen via cat6 ethernet cable ( in conjunction with the Elky USB OTG Adapter ) to increase the download speed. I was originaly using the ethernet adapter connected to the router via cat6 ethernet but this is capped at 100mbs. After connecting the Rankie and Elky to the Firetv Cube I was getting speeds of 316mbs a marked improvement. Just to Recap You Need The Rankie USB Gigabit Adapter USB3.0 and the Elky USB OTG Adapter

Good product my laptop doesn”t have an ethernet port so this is perfect. One little niggle it has pulled out of laptop twice now my laptop is new and other leads haven”t pulled out. I”ll keep an eye on it.

This is a great replacement should your onboard network interface stop working as was the case for my motherboard recently. The performance also is noticeable better than the now dead onboard NIC. Highly recommend.

Works well with my laptop which is relatively new. Speeds are good and really easy to install. My laptop only had a wifi connection so needed this wired connection option just for backup.

My previous speed on the rj45 in the back of my lg55cx oled was 97 and now with the usb plug-in on a 500mg/bits I get speed of 380mg/bits Quite satisfactory.
