I needed an adapter for our laptops that no longer have ethernet ports. I tested it on my chromebook and i could pull 950-980mbps on our gigabit connection. Very happy. No drivers needed ether.

Went from 200 Mbps on Wi-Fi to 450 Mbps using this adapter..However. my internet is 700 Mbps. so adapter could be a bit faster since my phone in the same area on Wi-Fi gets speeds up to to 600 Mbps. Overall. happy with the product since my speed has doubled.

My laptop with only a 10/100 network adapter tops out at 95Mbps. I now see speeds at. or just under 600Mbps. fantastic.

My Converatable PC didn’t have a NIC so I needed to use this for a wired connection when WIFI wasn’t an option. It pugged into the USB port as expected. Windows 11 found the hardware and installed the drivers. I plugged my patch cable into it and bam! I now have a wired connection. The speed is alright. its enough to play WOW without any lag or really any other game I would bet. If you need an Ethernet connection. this will do the trick!

I use this on my LG TV to avoid the often annoying messages “Lan Cable Disconnected” “Lan Cable Connected”. by connecting via wired cables directly to USB the TV’s settings think you have no internet connection. thereby eliminating the annoying and distracting pop-up messages. By connecting in this way there is no difference whatsoever in quality of picture or sound. I have gigabit internet and connecting the way I do I have 320 mbs on Netflix speed test. my router is in my kitchen and I use a TP link RE650 extender in the sitting room. I plug my ethernet cable to the extender then to this adapter and use a spare USB on TV and I get faultless performance. LG will do nothing to eliminate the annoying pop-ups. so I believe this solution which I have devised will be helpful to other LG owners.
