Being able to add another USB 3.0 port to your USB-C enabled laptop is a nice touch. This fits pretty snug on my machine. The adapter feels WELL made. Top quality material and branding. Don”t be afraid to push it in if it feels snug.**Disclaimer**The only thing that makes this type of adapter questionable is its small point of connection to the computer… and gravity. NO FAULT of this brand or make. In fact all Type C adapters will at some point be prone to fail due to bending/breaking at the pin (if user is not careful). It”s just a consequence of having an adapter like this hang out of a computer port with a heavy flash drive attached. If your laptop is up on a stand or just off the surface of the table a sizable thumb drive will apply a slight downward force on the USB-C connection. And over time and possibly leaning on it unintentionally you could be faced with a bent or faulty pin. Using this adapter with a USB cabled peripheral shouldn”t post as much of a risk but again it”s the tiny point of contact between the computer and the adapter that will be the weakest point with these type of adapters.

I use this with a USB stick to store college homework as I use a tablet that has minimal storage. It allows me to keep all my stuff in one place while working on the go and doing big projects on a desktop.
