It seems to work just fine. The USB-A female end seems pretty tight (no sexual jokes please) and do plugging my flash drives in was a bit difficult but it still works fine and is very inexpensive.

Bought these because USB-C is definitely becoming more commonplace. and having adapters around allows you to ‘future proof’ some of your USB-A stuff. Haven’t had any problems with either. quite sturdy. and reasonably priced. Allowed me to plug a USB Sega Genesis/Megadrive controller into a tablet to play emulated games on without any compatibility issues at all. so they clearly function properly.
