My friend had told me that you could use this adapter on the Switch for use of GameCube Controllers without the dock. I was uneasy about it but I tried it. The result: works perfectly and it allows me to use a GameCube Controller on the Switch without the dock. Highly recommend for people who love using GameCube Controllers.

This is a must for the user that transitioned from a PC or Mac that had USB ports. Of course Apple likes to find ways to make us spend more and more money when we upgrade their products. I used this when going from an older MacBook to a newer model. Haven’t had a single issue. Lightweight and doesn’t add much bulk. Perfect choice.
