There are an awful lot of frankly overpriced sleeves for the Macbook Air out there. some even in the three digits. So I advise you to simply save your money and buy this instead. This sleeve is great and doesn’t have the issue of it being absurdly tight. Are the materials super premium? No. of course not. but they’re good enough with the magnets being a nice touch.

I personally have a Macbook Pro M1 13 inch and it fits just as well as a Macbook Air might. I realize they are thinner than my Pro. but this works just as well. the mag clasp stays firmly attached despite the slightly thicker profile of the Pro M1..Overall. it’s easy to tell that this is simulated leather and not real. the feel of the material used. if you have ever actually felt leather. then you know what I mean. But it’s still more than soft enough and the laptop slips in with ease. and it’s nice to carry around as it does look fairly premium. And because it’s so thin. it really doesn’t take up much space at all. and if flipped over. can double as a mouse pad or hand pad if you lay it under you Macbook in the right position..Would I prefer real leather? Sure. a nice cowhide would be amazing. But at this price. it’s a subtle enough difference that I am not complaining. It’s a great product and should have some longevity if you take care of it. 4 stars.
