My old one was cracked. So I removed it. clean the screen and remove the clear film. I saw on another review that you should light up your phone before placing it down. so I did and I gently lower it to align it and then I let it go once aligned. To my surprise. the cover stated to flatten and settle without bubbles. Nothing needed! ????????
