Works well to hook up my Raspberry Pi Zero W which only has micro-USB (female) sockets to a (cheap) USB soundcard that has a regular-size USB (male) plug. Sound comes through nicely (I’m using max2play – well more struggling to get working than using but hopefully in time…).

Used for moving files from 2 older Samsung phones. Not really concerned about transfer speed so can’t comment on that. Plug and play. Happy with purchase and great price! Connected to a thumb drive that has usb A and usb C. Phones are usb Micro

For the value you really cannot beat these micro USB. I have purchased about 5 to six times and never had problem with one transaction.

Worked great to get a USB-A port on a pi zero. Quality seems ok. I only needed two so I have a bonus one.
