This set of 3 cables represents value for money in my opinion. I had a Sony Experia Z3 phone for which the touch screen return key became unresponsive. Using one of these cable with a USB mouse allowed me to take back control of the phone to tranfer my data. (Inspiration came from a little video on You Tube).
