The female jack is a USB 2.0 (less data transfer rate compared to USB 3.0) it is best suited for USB DACs (Ex: Dragonfly Red/Black). Also the grip is stronger than expected when plugged in on both ends (android phone and DAC). Highly satisfied with purchase shipping and product quality.
