I was traveling with a Raspberry Pi Zero as part of an engineering prototype. I realized I had left the USB on-the-go cable back in the lab. From the hotel I ordered this pack of 3 OTG cables on a Sunday and had them in hand two days later. An OTG cable is merely a microUSB male at one end and type-A USB female at the other end. Sometime it”s a one-piece molded plastic adapter and sometimes it is a cable. The RPi Zero is a little crowded so I recommend using the cable version of OTG otherwise it might interfere with the USB power port. $2 is reasonable and the shipping was faster than I expected. Thanks!

Works for my Samsung sound bar. Seems to be built well. I have nothing negative to say.

I purchased this cable after the girlfriends Samsung took that one too many free fall jumps onto a tiled floor during a bathroom selfie photo-shoot (that’s where you get the best lighting apparently?).
The display still worked however the capacitive input was knackered but that’s OK because those 4 827 indistinguishable irreplaceable portrait shots were backed up to her cloud storage… right? No no they were not.

My first thought was to just hook it up to my PC dump off all the media and the day would be saved. Which would have been fine had the option been enabled to register the devices memory as an external storage device.

Out of options and the girlfriends mental state rapidly deteriorating I ordered up one of these cables.
Prime’d it’s way to me the next day hooked it up to the Samsung popped in a USB mouse and got the phone syncing to the cloud.

This little cable saved the day and calmed the savage beast.
Would highly recommend if you find yourself in a similar predicament just double check that your device supports OTG (On-The-Go).
