I’m using this cable from my 2010 MBP to an Acer 21.5″ FHD screen. On first connection it worked. That’s a good sign. The colors are vivid and the image is crisp. I cannot speak to its ability to carry 4K signals but FHD looks great. If you use the warranty card you get a lifetime replacement guarantee from the company.
Also the cable is thinner than other monitor cables I’ve used and can bend cleanly to fit behind desks and into cable organizers. Don’t see any obvious area of weakness either.

I bought this because I was switching from a Dell (HDMI – HDMI ) to a Microsoft (mini DP-HDMI) dock for my Surface Pro 4. I use two screens. Leads work fine.
