For those wanting to use this with a windows PC to display to an older imac (in my case 2010) it works perfectly! I personally like the look of the imac but prefer windows PC”s for gaming so with this cable you can use your beefy PC and still use that nice display

Used this to connect a Lenovo P51 to a recently purchased 1440p monitor.Does the job perfectly well.Tested a couple of 4k movies over it and it”s working just fine.
