Works fine. Really pleased I came across this converter as I was trying to attach two monitors to my laptop and it seems it’s a common thing that the graphics card will only support one external display via the HDMI port even with a splitter. And bingo. my laptop has this mini display port. so now I have three screen including laptop. Quality is great. it literally just plugs and plays. Winner ??

Mini Display port is the video connection on my Surface Pro. Allows me to use a HDMI lead to connect it to and external monitor. Works well and is pretty much plug and play.
