This is probably my best purchase of 2020! I’ve tried for about 5 years to get a quality cable for my old Kindle. this one has exceeded my expectations. Considering the really low price. I thought it would be another item to pass on to a charity shop. But NO. it’s superb. 1.8meter cable (makes you realise the actual 2m personal distancing needed at the moment). I can plug it in and actually continue using my Kindle. without me needing to sit on the floor. It does not come with a plug. but that is not a problem. since most of us have USB connectors nowadays. The other end that slot a into the Kindle is a secure fit. not wobbly like a lot of previous purchases from other sellers. It charges up my Kindle a lot faster than my older cable AND it enabled me to transfer data from the Kindle to my new MacBook easily. I am so pleased to give a positive review for what is. a basic cheap bit of kit. Happy to recommend. Add on … to anyone having problems transferring downloads from a kindle without a cable …. just set up the email App on your kindle. click on what needs transferring. click on share and several options appear including email. This is the second time I have order this product. The cords are good and sturdy. The cords that came with many of my electronics always frayed at the end that plugged into the device. I don’t have that problem with these cords.
