The USB to Micro USB cable included with my ancient Samsung S6 decided to melt down when left to charge overnight next to my bed. Luckily I smelled burning plastic and woke to find it before it started a fire. Yes. it was that bad. I purchased the Rankie cable to replace it based on recommendations from others.. and I am amazed at the difference in quality between the Rankie and the Samsung. The connectors on the Rankie are solid and appear to have plenty of strain relief. The micro side is also a very snug fit which I like. The cable is cloth wrapped. which is also good for this application and is rarely seen these days. Add in a very low price. and you have a winner. My only concern before seeing the cable was the low price as that usually means cut corners and lower quality. Not so here. Well done Rankie.
