The first time I put the braided cable into my cars USB port Waze was automatically recognized. It was hit or miss with Samsung cables sometimes Android Auto came on and other times it was just plain frustrating. The chords seem very well made and are sturdy. They also charged my Android phone very quickly which is what i was hoping for as the cheaper ones charge but very slowly. So far so good with these charging cords.
