arrived in the advertised time and my god the inside is so soft and plush that I would sleep in it I I could..think it will offer a decent level of protection to the Mac as it is fairly thick and seems to be well padded

Let’s be honest. you get what you pay for. However. if you’re looking for a case to keep it protected rather than just carrying your Macbook around naked. this does the job just fine. I do also wish there were some type of handle but I see myself using this for as long as it lasts. Has more padding than I was even expecting and charger fits fine in the front pouch. Would recommend for someone just needing a case to add some protection getting your Mac from here to there without worrying too much about water damage or small drops.
