A firm sleeve with some cushioning that keeps your device safe in the bag pack and has some extra space for the charger or a pen and paper. It is also water-resistant. which is important if you are living in wet land.

I bought a new Macbook Air and needed a case that would protect it and hold some paper documents during transit. It all packs away nicely (holding leads. connection adaptor. and a external hardrive..My rucksack then carries it freeing up my hands – while knowing my computer is secure and safe. Never felt I would say something like that about a laptop case..Only gripe is that I would have difficulty putting plug away (as the pins do not fold. thanks to Apple!!). So I have to pack the plug separately in another pocket in my rucksack – just a gripe that isn’t the fault of the case.
