They arrived just over a week ago and have been guarding my kitchen sink drains ever since.The plastic rubber and metal mesh versions are all totally inferior. These have a solid smooth metal “basket with PLENTY of drain holes to allow water to run through quickly like a colander while virtually nothing else gets through. It catches a lot of food too so be patient! Consider scraping more into the garbage! It”ll be worth it!

This strainer catches so much more than others I”ve used because nothing slips around the edge. Another great feature is the holes in the side so that even if the bottom is covered in yuck it doesn”t clog and fill up your sink.

I’ve been using strainers that look like hats made of window screen. Needed another set so thought I’d try these. Pleasantly surprised to find these are superior. Look nicer and the rim of these is very flat so food particles easily are washed into the strainer instead of remaining outside of the rim. The metal does appear to be stainless and looks like it will wear well.
