This was exactly what I needed. It fit my sink perfectly. It is durable unlike the mesh strainer types that are out there. Only thing I noticed is that the rim is pretty sharp when I dump the strainer. It doesn’t have a rounded/smooth rim but more of a straight cut edged rim. It actually cut me once after having it for about 4 months. Just be careful when emptying it. Despite this. I would still order it again.

I just moved in a new house with a septic system. I have been used to a garbage disposal so remembering to clean off plates completely was something new. I was worried about the septic so I bought these to help. They are great. Theyy even will catch egg yoke left over in a bowl. Water runs through them great. I would recommend these to others.
