I had a very similar case that lasted about three years before the sides cracked and started to separate. I went for a similar style case since I have aDIY MagSafe wallet that I sometimes attach to my phone. I do like that this one has extra protection around the rear camera instead of the open square on my previous case. Coating is holding up fine so far and protective but not too bulky so I can still carry it easy in my pocket. Dropped a couple of times and so far no damage to the phone or case
