The edges have a good grip. but the back surface is very smooth. So will slip in your pocket easier. Hasnt happened yet. But iys easier to slip out your hand. I have a screen protector. So perfect case with no case screen. Fits like a glove. The added edges around the camera lenses is a good idea to protect thise lenses.
