I’ve been using these for years. We drop our phones a lot. Sometimes mine has fallen off my bike at speed. They can and do break when this happens. which can sometimes be unnerving. but in the years of use the protector itself is all that breaks. with the glass underneath remaining intact..So. these do need to be replaced periodically. but i view that as a small price to pay for a screen that remains well protected. Install is always a breeze.
