This cover for my IPAD mini 4 is slim. not bulky. so the device fits easily in my handbag. when necessary. I have a separate screen protecter for this IPAD mini 4 as well. (I had had an older style cover for my previous IPAD mini but had failed to get a screen protector. When I dropped the old IPAD. even with the cover in place. the screen cracked.)
