The case protects the Apple Air holds it up when using and shuts it down when closed. I got one when I bought the Apple Air and this was a replacement of the original.

Have had this for two days and cover meets all my requirements. sleep mode works well. The cover is sturdy yet not bulky and the openings for the buttons (sleep earphone power and sound) are big enough to to encroach said buttons

I went to Best Buy a couple weeks ago and purchased a very similar cover for $40 and was not pleased at all! I promptly returned it and purchased this JETech case for $11.99 for my Ipad Air (1st gen). It worked great and was a perfect fit! Very pleased with this product. Way to go JETtech!
