Works well and a good fit. I wanted a simple case for the iPad while in use and slim enough to fit into a carrying case.

This light case for iPad(9th gen) is just what we needed. providing some extra grip without weight. Previously. we had a very sturdy. magnetic case with lots of protection and cover flap but which was much heavier than the iPad itself. making it uncomfortable to carry and use. Our iPad has wifi only. no cellular radio. so it stays home mostly and doesn’t need uber-protection. When we are traveling with it. we just put it inside a padded mailing envelope in our luggage. just taking it out at our destination. so not subject to dropping outside. Case fits well. and buttons work through the case buttons. but iPad is larger than a cell phone. so case is easily peeled away on long edges. and may collect more dust under.
