This case completely covers my i pad both front and back. By closing the cover my i pad goes to sleep and it instantaneously wakes up when you fold the cover back. When using the i pad vertically the cover acts as a handle – when used horizontally it serves as a stand. A very versatile and useful case.

The product was exactly as described. The original Apple ipad cover for my 5th Gen had separated from the magnet bar. As a result. the cover didn’t align itself easily with the screen and put the ipad to sleep. My ipad fit perfectly into this new cover. The cover doesn’t feel as heavy and sturdy as the original Apple one. but heck – for what they charge I certainly didn’t expect that. It protects the screen. puts the unit to sleep. is solid. etc.
