Easy to use and great value are the standout features.The accuracy seems to be in line with other devices I have but you do need to remember to multiply the displayed value by the emissivity value which is provided in the user manual. In other words the reading displayed may be slightly higher than the actual temperature of the object you are measuring.All in all a great tool to measure temperature without having to contact the item. It is also very quick so you get fast results.

I have not tested the accuracy of this device. but it’s worked for every recipe I’ve had that requires a specific grill temperature.
