I use it to check the temperature of pans I am heating..I also use it to measure the temperature of foods like stir fry that can’t easily be checked using an instant read thermometer.

This is a very handy tool to check for places in your house that are not well insulated or leaking hot/cold air. With the data from the measurements. one can take corrective action to make one’s home more energy efficient..Accuracy is a few degrees Fahrenheit. so not super accurate. but accuracy is not so important when checking relative temperature differences throughout the house.

I purchased this Helect Infrared Thermometer to solve some wall insulation issues in our older home. I have since compared its readings to a conventional thermometer and found it to be really accurate and fast. even for reading things like air coming out of an air conditioner vent. Great little tool!

Works well. Can”t vouch for accuracy as I have nothing to truly cslibrate it against but I would say its fairly accurate. I used it check and balance my rads. Thereafter it becomes a great treat for the cats to chase the laser light around (with care).
