I have used this IR Thermometer to successfully balance radiators in my house. It does the job as expected. I’m giving it only 4 stars because the laser pointer is misaligned as you can see on attached photo.

I use this item to track the temperature of the control board on my pottery kiln (it cannot get too hot) and also the temperature of the side walls of the little building my kiln is in. It is very easy to use and seems reliable. It feels very solid in my hand. Great price. A good buy.
