This is so easy to use and so fun. just point at something at it says what the temperature is. Magic. It says not to point it at humans (note). We use it on our pizza oven to make sure the stone is not too cool or hot. It needs to be around 400C. It has made all the difference to a perfect crust thus avoiding the dredded soggy or worse burnt bottom.

We use this thermometer to check cooking temp on gas griddle. Very accurate.

Easy to use when checking for cold spots when I’m freeze drying. Readings are instantaneous. Much better than taking a guess that the food is dry all the way though.

I like the fact that it operates exactly like it is advertised. I have an older heat press with a very small temperature gauze that I cannot read very well so I had not used it for 2 years. I have been able to complete a large order of t-shirts because I can now set and determine if I have the right temperature. I finished my order on time.
