I specifically bought this to run my PS4 in another room and I’ve been seeing mixed reviews with people claiming that it did or didn’t work for the Playstation 4 and I’m here to claim that it DOES work for PS4.
What you need to do is disable HDCP and HDR in your settings and make sure the unit is powered with a 5.0V plug. My monitor is from 2007 and able to display 720p properly. But you might want to adjust your display settings once connected. The only little thing was I had to fiddle with the USB cord on the unit’s end in order for the power to kick in and the monitor finally turned on and displayed the picture. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT POWER ONLY FOR PS4.
Playstation 3 (however) works without the power plugged in.
I do not have any XBox consoles to test it on.
