Really useful auxiliary power plug. Some devices need the extra power. Getting a second one now in 2020 for another computer.

Good product. plug into computer hdmi port. plug in monitor VGA lead. plug in the USB lead for a 5v power supply and all works plug and play. O/s windows 10. nearly forgot coupled the sound stereo jack too and the sound is ok too.

Works for my business Mac book pro with retina display as well as my personal HP laptop. Transmits decent quality picture with my older version monitor. Using just for work purposes with a dual monitor setup so not sure about gaming quality.
