After going through several different HDMI to VGA adapters this one finally works as it should. My setup included an HDMI extender to this adapter – so the signal is not straight out of the source. With the included 5v power wire this unit performed exactly as expected. I got a crisp signal on my VGA projector from an HDMI output on my computer. I would highly recommend this adapter especially when an external 5v power source is available.
